Theory of Constraints (TOC) is a management philosophy introduced by Eliyahu M. Goldratt in his 1984 book The Goal, that enables organizations to imbibe a process of ongoing improvement.

Ira Gilani Lal
Ira Gilani Lal brings with her a wide range of experience across pharmaceuticals, apparel, retail, communications and technology sectors. Prior to TOC consulting at Goldratt India, Ira was a strategy consultant at Accenture. She has also worked with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Ranbaxy. Ira is an MBA from IIFT, New Delhi and Economics graduate from Lady Shriram College, New Delhi.
Ira is a TOCICO (Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization) certified expert in TOC Fundamentals. She is passionate about spreading TOC to a wider audience in India, and has been invited to share her experiences at several industry bodies. She is a member of the HR & Training, and Manufacturing & Industry committees at BCIC (Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce). She has been trained in TOC Thinking Processes at Goldratt’s Odyssey program at Netherlands in 2007
Ravi Gilani introduced Dr. Eli Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints (TOC) to Indian organizations in 1998. He is the first ‘Jonah’ (TOC Expert) in India. He is a TOCICO certified expert.
Ravi has served as a member on the board of TOCICO from 2005-2008 and 2013-2016. His presentations on TOC implementation in Indian companies are sought after at international conferences.
Prior to founding Goldratt India, Ravi was the Chief Consultant at ECS Limited (Formerly Eicher Consultancy Services Limited). Before starting his consulting career, Ravi gained valuable hands-on experience for 21 years in operations in the Indian industry (Tata Motors and Eicher).
Ravi is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He enjoys striving for the impossible by challenging sacred assumptions and simplifying complexity. He also writes a guest column for Outlook Business magazine.
